I cannot fully express how much this scholarship means to me, but I will do my best to convey the excitement and immense sense of gratitude I feel. I found this incredible opportunity through the Scholarship Owl website, and when I received the notice that I was selected as a recipient for these funds, I was overwhelmed with relief. This scholarship has given me the ability to breathe a little easier and dedicate all my focus on completing my education. My short term goals are to graduate by the end of 2025, complete my internship and transition into a salaried full time employee. Within the next 5 years, I would love to transition into a SOC Analyst role. I am passionate about protecting critical data and infrastructure. Just yesterday, I completed my Systems Security Certified Practitioner certification, and receiving this scholarship feels like a sign that I am on the right path. Receiving this scholarship has made a real difference in my life, and I will never take it for granted.
